An embroidered patch badge featuring the coat of arms of Bridlington.
The Coat of Arms of Bridlington were officially granted on 26 September 1934. The B's depicted are said to have come from the arms of Bridlington Priory. However, there isn’t actual proof that Bridlington Priory used this coat of arms. The arms have been used by the charitable trust ‘The Lords Feoffees and Assistants of the Manor of Bridlington’. There is a theory that the three B’s are a reference to the Trinity and strengthens the possibility that the coat of arms did formerly belong to the Bridlington Priory. The blue waves refer to the city's location on the east coast.
This patch badge is sew-on, washable, shrinkproof and are over-locked to avoid fraying.
